Nigeria’s ruling party, All Progressive Congress has inaugurated new national executives after the keenly contested elections in the APC National convention. The new APC national executives were inaugurated on Sunday by the Minister of Justice.
The chairman of the APC National Convention Committee, Governor Abubakar Mohammed of Jigawa State earlier revealed the names of victorious candidates in the APC national convention on Sunday evening at the convention.

In the result of the APC national convention, former Edo state governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as the new Apc National Chairman taking over from Chief John Oyegun also of Edo state who had been the APC national chairman since inception. The new APC national chairman Adams Oshiomhole was elected unopposed.
Some of the new National Working Committee (NWC) members are returning to their offices while many others are new to their seats after winning the hotly contested election. The party’s national secretary, Mai Mala Buni, was one of those who retained their offices. The new APC national executives were inaugurated on Sunday at the Eagle Square, Abuja, venue of the convention.

The new APC national executives were inaugurated by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Alhaji Abubakar Malami. Justice Malami administered the oath of office and allegiance on Oshiomhole and the party’s newly elected National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni, on Sunday in Abuja.
Oshiomhole subsequently administered the oath of office and allegiance on other members of the newly elected APC national Working Committee.
